The program can be used to search zip files for files matching search parameters very quickly.
Zipsearch can search ZIP files for text inside the individual files within the archive.
SEARCH WORD DOCUMENTS AND EXCEL WORKBOOKS
The features of Zipsearch are -
* locate search searchstrings
* display search results
* view files and
* perform file operations.
* replace text inside zip files
* search multibyte unicode files- eg Chinese , Japanese
Zip files can be searched inside the files and individual files within the zip files are listed.
Zipsearch's search parameters are disk/ directory, extensions, dates, file size, attributes and text.
The program can
* search multiple directories and drives,
* display file extensions registered on your computer,
* use user defined extensions,
* save and load search parameters,
* use modified, created and last accessed dates,
* match file sizes and attributes,
* use case sensitive search strings,
* view the number of occurences of a searchstring in a file,
* view searchstrings in multiple files,
* view files,
* search results can be printed or saved to a file for analysis
* perform file operations on search results,-eg copy, move, recycle, delete and open
* use multi string extensions or filenames in a continuous list
* up to 90 multiple search strings
* replace text within zip archives and normal uncompressed files
* search multibyte unicode files- eg Chinese , Japanese
* Search the following archive extensions
